The Nopal at El Siete

A current favourite on the El Siete menu.
Prickly pear is one of those ingredients that does half the work for you. It’s electric pink, gently sweet, lightly sour, and unmistakably summery. At El Siete, it’s layered with hibiscus for depth and floral sharpness, then finished with fresh lime to keep everything lifted.
To hold it together, they use Tapatío Blanco — a traditionally made tequila with real backbone. Peppery, vegetal, clean. It keeps the drink grounded while the fruit and florals do their thing.
The Nopal is vivid but balanced, playful but structured. The kind of drink that works whether you’re downstairs at El Siete for the evening, or stealing an hour before heading up for tacos at El Pastor Soho.
