Sonidero Party at El Pastor Soho for Mexican Independence Day 2025

To celebrate Día de la Independencia, El Pastor Soho is throwing a Sonidero Party with our friend and pro party starter, Paola Feregrino, founder of MexiBrit, London’s hub for modern Mexican culture.

Hosted in our intimate, late-night basement bar, Mezcaleria Colmillo will be transformed into a full dance floor inspired by Sonideros – the vibrant sound system culture that originated on the streets of Mexico City. These mobile sound systems are an intangible form of cultural heritage, where DJs, MCs and dancers come together to celebrate to music, movement and Mexican pride.

There will be live mariachi and plenty of tequila to kick off the night, followed by DJs spinning cumbia, Mexican classics and corridos tumbados late into the night.
